Cleghorn Plantation Golf Club

Cleghorn Plantation stands at the gateway to western North Carolina and the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains in the historic town of Rutherfordton. The golf course, amenities, and neighborhoods are nestled into what once was a working plantation. In fact, the original Manor House, built in 1836, still stands today and provides a stunning backdrop just behind the 9th green.

Cleghorn's golf course was designed by George Cobb, a master architect whose design credits include the par 3 course at Augusta National and East Lake in Atlanta. The course has been named one of "The Best Places To Play" by Golf Digest and one of the top 10 courses in North Carolina by Golflink.com. The well-equipped Pro Shop features apparel and equipment, as well as a popular snack bar. Members also enjoy tennis privileges and access to the Plantation Swim Club.

A new selection of golf course homesites with prices starting at just $29,000 enables most anyone to enjoy the coveted and desirable lifestyle of western North Carolina. And now for a limited time, purchasers of developer homesites will receive a Free Golf For Life membership - no initiation deposits, no monthly dues, and no green fees...ever again!!
